Knowledge is Freedom

Freedom of Mind is one of the lovely outcomes of opening up to our spirituality.

There’s an old saying, “knowledge is freedom.” The more we know who we are at a Soul level, the less we believe alternative narratives that undermine us — whether the stories come from ourselves or from others.

For many of us, waking up to this knowing has been the work of this lifetime.

It comes through following our innate joys and skills—what makes us smile and what we dream about doing (even if it’s on the side).

It comes from releasing what no longer resonates with us, especially if we’re holding fear about the release.  These could be major parts of our life such as a job or where we live or a relationship.  They could be more mundane, such as who we follow on social media or the foods we eat.

Bit by bit, day by day, we release into who we really are.

What does Freedom of Mind feel like?  Happiness on most days. Not worrying as much about how things happen because you know you’re hardwired for guidance. Feeling more gratitude for your life.  Clearer boundaries—knowing what’s yours and what’s not.

So yes, get a reading from someone you trust and resonate with. Learn your astrology chart; your human design bodygraph and your enneagram spread as well if that feels true for you. Write in a journal, draw oracle cards, walk in the woods or sit outside at twilight.  Do whatever brings you back to yourself, again and again, and be still with your lovely Being.

Here’s a question The Grandmothers like to ask: “What do you know about yourself that no one else knows?”

Follow the thread of yourself. I promise you there’s a through-line running the span of your life with your Soul’s inclinations.

Your Freedom of Mind is in this through-line.
