Tips for the Soul’s Path

1) The journey doesn’t happen how you think it will or within a time frame you want. Take both of those off the table up front.

2) You are both your own passenger and your own guide.  Yes, of course others are involved, but at the end of the day it’s your Soul and your life.

3) The journey doesn’t end; there’s no train station.  What does happen, though, is that one day you’ll learn something about yourself that changes everything.

4) Trust that the Universe is benevolent. As the poet Rilke once wrote in a letter: “let life happen to you….life is in the right, always.”

5) The pathway is through your heart, not your head; you can’t think your way to your Soul. You can gain insights and knowledge, but the opening happens through your heart, which is probably a little tender. Protect it for the journey.
