As The Year Closes Out

From The Grandmothers

Ee nah, ee sah, ka puna


Dancing, twirling, pausing

Swirling, circling, spiraling


You are not experiencing time changing, as if time were outside of you,

You are time changing,

You are time lived.


You are seasons and rains and droughts,

You are Solstices and Equinoxes, sunrises and sunsets,

You are the very Earth upon which you live,

You are the very stars upon which you wish.


You have moved time, lived time, in which you have been called to your deepest knowing. 

This is what you carry with you now, at this turn,

As you begin a new journey through the star fields,

Your soul lighting the way.
